Who I am
Born in Teteringen, The Netherlands – a small suburb of Breda – in the last century, 1974 to be precise. A few words to describe those fun filled and unforgettable years of youth? Well, supporting NAC, Britpop, playing field hockey and working in ‘t Klapcot, one of the most famous pubs in town.
In Nijmegen carefree college life awaited me, as did the love of a beautiful Spanish girl. And that’s a nice crossover to the next phase in my life. Since 2004 I live and work in the South of Spain – from Granada to the mountainous village of María (great name, isn’t it?) and back to Granada again. Oh, and with a magnificent and unique gap year in Galway, Ireland.
Life in Spain is wonderful, thanks to the stunning nature and city, family & friends and since 2018 the birth of our little daughter. So that’s me, a Dutchman in Granada.
